Uncommunicated It is the first exhibition of the Bulgarian Denica Veselinova in Valencia. Born from a reflection on language as a way of thinking and defining the world and raises questions around cultural diversity, communication and misunderstanding. The main piece of the exhibition is an interactive multidisciplinary installation called Mouthsaic that alters the message artificially through technology, that is to say, translates a series of sentences into random languages until the constant translation and re-translation reaches such a level of abstraction that compression is impossible. Besides, a series of drawings on paper will explore the theme of human communication through wordplay and visual metaphors. AU
