Seeing the obelisk square in Buenos Aires filled with two million souls crazy with excitement for Argentina's World Cup victory, no one dares to question that football is a sociological phenomenon of the first order. In Valencia too and it all started with two pioneering teams called Levante F.C. i Gimnástico F.C., founded one 1909 in different neighborhoods and with ideologically opposed social masses, which is fusionary to create the Levante U.D.. (the chotos it would still take ten years to found Valencia C.F.). The story is that both teams would eventually merge into 1939 with the name of the first and the colors and the nickname "frog" of the second, whose stadium was located on the bed of the Túria.
