In 2017, the Ministry of Culture initiated a campaign to acquire works of art by Valencian artists or residents of the Valencian Community for, on the one hand, enrich the public artistic heritage and, on the other, putting on the patron's hat, help artists and galleries develop their work. 3 years of acquisitions collect 42 works of contemporary art acquired between 2017 i 2019, in different formats and made by artists of different generations, that yes, with absolute gender parity.
