11 PAM!PAM!

UNTIL SUNDAY 11/1
CCCC. Museum, 2

PAM!PAM! is a project that aims to give visibility to the work of emerging artists who are trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. It has exceeded the border of ten editions, but he has not yet found a permanent home for his annual exhibition: it has passed through the VAT, the Drassanes or the Center del Carme itself, which opens the doors to him again to close the circle. And not just any doors, but those of its largest and most important room: the Ferreres-Goerlich. There are eleven artists selected to show works in which the material alternates with the virtual, very present in this 11th edition. Connection in Ferran Bubu, for example, propose a sculptural installation of ruins from which 20th century computer monitors emerge with saturated images of a great explosion. A work that reflects the apocalyptic imagination we live with at these moments in history. Although technology reigns in PAM!PAM!, there is also room for more classical means and currents such as those practiced by Estefanía Serrano, who embodies the tradition of Valencian geometric abstraction. It proposes a series of lithographs and three large-format works of painting on wood where the lines intersect with the golden ratio. AU
