The guitar festival 'City of Elche', celebrates its XXVII edition, of the 25 al 31 July in the cloister of the church of San José. This year as a novelty a special presentation concert will be held, that will take place next day 20 June at the Elche Clarisas Cultural Center at 21.30 hours. Gonzalo Peñalosa Biedma comienza a estudiar guitarra a los 5 años con su padre, José Antonio Peñalosa. Continuó formándose con Serafín Arriaza, Miguel Arriaza, Lola Montes, María Esther Guzmán y Álvaro Toscano. Estudió en el CPM Francisco Guerrero de Sevilla, finalizando en 2019 con Premio Honorífico Fin de Grado Profesional. In 2018 recibió el Premio a la Trayectoria Académica y Personal otorgado por el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla. Actualmente estudia en el Conservatorio Superior de Islas Baleares con Pedro Mateo. Ha realizado cursos de perfeccionamiento con David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, Zoran Dukic, Aniello Desiderio, Marcin Dylla, Roberto Aussel, Alvaro Pierri, Judicaël Perroy, Carlo Marchione, Ricardo Gallén, Leo Brouwer y Joaquín Clerch, among others.
