Valencia will turn on its CRT screens again next 25 April 21 2026, will do it from 10.00 at 8 p.m. in the new edition of RetróPolis Valencia, the fair of retro computing and classic video games of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with a poster designed by CuboPop, a powerful and epic image that pays tribute to the pixelated heroes who marked an entire generation. Impossible Arcades, graphic adventures, platforms of 8 bits, Mythical machines and unforgettable characters resurface in flames as a symbol that classic digital culture remains as alive as ever.
The ninth edition of RetróPolis Valencia will once again be held at the Escola Técnica Superior d'Ingenyria Informatica (ETSINF), in building 1G, consolidating the event as one of the reference meetings for retro computing in Spain. Guests will be announced in the coming weeks, tournaments, conferences, special exhibits and activities that will turn the campus into a truly interactive journey into the golden years of video gaming and home computing. Attend the RetróPolis Valencia event 2026 and free, although it should be noted that the entrance is free and sustainable, that is to say, a solidarity or sustainable contribution is required: at least 1 kg of non-perishable food that the Videojuegos por alimentos initiative will exchange to attendees for a classic video game, or also electronic waste for recycling, in collaboration with the Computer Museum. In the edition of 2025 were gathered more than 1.000 Kg of food for the Food Bank of Valencia.
RetroPolis Valencia is not just nostalgia: it is technological heritage, community and digital memory. The schedule includes official tournaments (rSports and Cultural Association La Taronja Friki), a special football tournament, organized by the Valencian Football Association, and a Tetris tournament, organized by RetroCabeza. All tournaments will be managed by the GamePetition tournament organizing platform. As in previous editions, ETSINF and its Computer Museum will play a key role, offering guided tours and other activities yet to be confirmed.
