The Modern Espai Gòspel Cor choir (MEGOC) will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a big concert next 16 May 2026 at 19:00 hours at the Teatre La PlaZeta in Valencia, where he will present his new show “Concert of Stars”. Founded at the end of 2015 in the city of Oliva, MEGÒC has established itself as one of the most impressive choral proposals in the Valencian Community, bringing together on stage more than 80 singers with a live band, in an unusual stage format that combines choral strength, rhythm and careful staging.
Concert of Stars proposes an intense and exciting musical journey through some of the greatest hits of international music, performed in choral format with a live band. The concert is structured in two large differentiated blocks. In a first part, the public enters into the essence of gospel, with representative songs from the traditional and contemporary repertoire that evoke the spirit of North American gospel, combining energy, excitement and audience participation. Works like Oh Happy Day, This Little Light of Mine or Every Praise turn this part into a vibrant experience charged with spiritual force..
The second part gives way to a more contemporary repertoire, with a selection of great hits from R&B/Soul, international pop and rock that are part of the collective memory of several generations. Classics like Unchain My Heart, Think, Sweet Caroline, Beat It, Eye of the Tiger o Take On Me, culminating the concert with a small tribute to Queen, with performances of Somebody To Love and Bohemian Rhapsody, closing with a finale of great scenic and musical intensity that seeks direct connection with the audience.
The combination of voices, Live band and immersive staging turn “Concert of Stars” into a complete musical experience, far from the traditional choral format and oriented towards the big show.
