Thirty years making the sweet potato! It is the time that Pot de Plom fulfills on the stage with the irreverent Xavi Castillo at the helm. They say it very proudly, the sweet potato is what they do, but with a very serious background that tests the cathartic effect of laughter in the face of dramatic or fantastical situations such as those caused by political corruption during the 25 years of the Popular Party government. The monologue is a theatrical play based on the book money junkiesby Sergio Castillo Prats for which Marcos Benavent parades, zaplana, factory, Blasco, Rita, Rus, Ortiz, Cuesta… They are all! In the face of accusations that this is "more of the same” or “it doesn't matter” they respond: some of the events are still being judged, now it plays more than ever. S.M.
