VAGUE

RIALTO THEATER. Pl. town hall, 17

Markedly social and genuinely Argentine theater directed by a Spaniard, Yoska Lázaro. That is Vague, a dirty portrait of the precariousness suffered by those who had the least in Argentina in the years 90, when Menem's policies further widened the gap between social classes. From there arises much of the violence that surprises those who look the other way., the one that springs up in poor neighborhoods inhabited by people who strive not to become human waste. El Nene and La Negra live in a precarious house in the Buenos Aires suburbs among old newspapers, empty and matte beer cans, inside four defeated walls that retain the stories, the secrets and the desire to go out in front of these two brothers.
