Teatre Escalante presents the fifth edition of the Teatre de la Memòria cycle with four shows intended for adult audiences that propose an exercise in historical memory. The cycle starts on Monday 23/11 with These blue days…, which brings us closer to the figure and work of Antonio Machado, to the places that marked his life and the historical moment he had to suffer. On Tuesday 24/11 is present And the bones spoke, whose objective is to unearth: unearth the stories of those who disappeared in the depths of ancient mass graves. Tribute to an unknown of Catrina Theater [26/11], finalist in the Max Awards 2020 as best show and best author revelation, rescues the memories of a woman who lived in the fifties. The work reconstructs its history from letters and photographs bought in an antiques market. The cycle ends on Friday 27/11 with Buried lives, a look at the life and death of people murdered during the Civil War and the Franco regime from the format of documentary theater, with real testimonies of victims of the repression.
