THE RAMBLET. South Boulevard – Pius IX
The Juan Diego Botto binomial (authorship and interpretation) and Sergio Peris-Mencheta (address) returns to the fray to address the figure of one of the most important literary exponents of Spanish literature of all time: Federico García Lorca. The text, which was originally designed for more interpreters, was converted into a monologue that gives voice to several characters present in Lorca's life.. In the words of Juan Diego Botto himself, the text “tries to provide irony and humor, to where it becomes inevitable to approach other depths” (referring to the dramatic context of Lorca's death), to illuminate aspects of the life of the Granada poet. Dramaturgy to understand our present and our identity using new perspectives on history and memory as tools. SERGIO BELLO
