At the beginning of the sixties of the 20th century, the Church facilitated the procedure to dispense priests who wanted to stop being priests.. One of them was the father of Alfredo Sanzol, author and director of The bar that swallowed all the Spaniards, his first creation at the head of the National Dramatic Center. Mixing reality and fiction, Sanzol reinterprets his father's story, here Jorge Arizmendi, a Navarro priest who in 1963 He leaves the priesthood and travels to Texas to end up selling vacuum cleaners, until he meets a couple of ranchers who suggest that he stay and live with them and inherit the hacienda..
