Candela Captain mainly uses the language of performance to study the limits of dance, relying on an exhaustive knowledge of the body in motion and of its stage presence. The death at the club that's it, a performance of 2018, the first, where the seeds of his future concerns were planted: the alienation, free will, the violence, the fear and apparent protection offered by social networks. specifically, the piece he presents at La Mutant explores the spectacularity of an allegorical club through electronic music, and tests the endurance of the body and the limits of dance through the insistent repetition of a single movement pattern.
