Àngel Guimerà's classic premiered on 1896 has one more new version thriller and detective thanks to this adaptation by Pablo Ley. Lowland takes us to the Barcelona of the beginning of the 20th century where the class struggle is about to erupt in numerous conflicts that will develop following the plot line of a secret love story. In a society where there are still masters and servants, an unusual murder is committed from the investigation of which will emerge universal themes such as freedom, equality, or solidarity, that will surprise the viewer for their easy adaptation in the 21st century.
