THE RAMBLET. Bulevard sud, esq. Pius IX
This is not the first time that Alberto San Juan combines music and poetry. I love you, Benedetti (The homeland and exile) is a tribute to the famous Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti who cultivated so many genres. But it is, at the same time, he megaphone with which to remember the different Latin American and Spanish voices that were forced to cross the Atlantic escaping dictatorships, of poverty and social and economic injustices that so many cases, curtailed of freedoms, caused. We talk about Luis Cernuda, Eduardo Galeano, Maria Zambrano, Pedro Salinas or Ernesto Sábato. Accompanying San Juan in the authorship and on stage is the guitarist and composer Fernando Egozocue.
