Hui, the post-war memory is not narrated by the victors, as usual, but the women who scrubbed life with homemade soap and inherited resignation. Lawrence, Martí and Piera convert the gossip, mourning and hunger in poetic and political matter. A Rogles of songs and misery there are songs, dances and caresses, but tenderness never covers the dirt of the bucket or the stench of silence; it just puts her in the foreground. The assembly, I'm essential, rely on the body and the word to sew these "insignificant stories" until they end up weighing more than any official account. Here the grandmothers are no longer secondary: they are the ones who move the rogle and, of course, the world. LUCAS SÁEZ
