Los aragoneses Teatre CheyMoche han adaptado al teatro el clásico del aragonés Ramón J. Sender, incluido en la lista de las cien mejores novelas en español del siglo XX del periódico the world. In Requiem for a Spanish peasant, Mosén Millán, el párroco de un pequeño pueblo rural, rememora la vida de Pacoel del Molinomientras se prepara para dar una misa de réquiem en el aniversario de su muerte. Él tuvo algo que ver y le pesa en la conciencia. Eso en la novela, en la versión teatral aparece un personaje inventado, el sacristán Pepe, como confidente del mosén, para traer a escena una decena de figuras incluidas en la novela original que supo dibujar la fractura social que supuso la guerra civil española.
