If there were some special people with whom we wanted to meet in this sad year of 2020, the Cupiellos are fine, the Neapolitan family adopted four years ago by the Valencian public and the Micalet Theater for the Christmas festivities. From misunderstandings to disputes, from tender moments to existential crises, this divine neorealist comedy by Eduardo di Filippo, written on 1931, it's a reflex (timeless) of family gatherings. We especially appreciate the Valencian touch given to this Christmas choral work by the exceŀslow actors of the Micalet Theater Company under the direction of Joan Peris. A great way to continue cultivating the culture with a big smile during the holidays. B.L.
