Dance and theater join forces to create this work in which the mythical captain of Moby Dick, Ahab, does not search, desperate, capture the whale, if not your own partner. Master it, isolate it, close it. Control where you go, with who, What clothes do you wear... Moby Dick (The bad love) breaks down the complex psychological mechanisms that act in gender violence, jealousy and his misunderstood virility, the perverse idea of romantic love that makes her endure contempt and renounce her family, friendships and, even, your own personality. In a toxic feeling of dependence that suffocates any possibility of love. "You're mine!"!!” Akab shouts to the whale. There is the germ of violence, in the belief that one human being can be the property of another, no matter how much “love” there is through. Chema Cardeña and Iria Márquez carry the interpretive weight in this piece in which Toni Aparisi and Iris Pintos give the dance response to talk about violence against women. S.M.
