FROM THURSDAY 5 ON SUNDAY 8/2
T. OLYMPIA. Saint Vincent the Martyr, 44
In The broken woman, the text of the famous writer Simone de Beauvoir, Anabel Alonso moves away from her usual comedic register and offers us a different facet. The actress plays Murielle, a woman overwhelmed by memories, resentment and a sense of life failure, that reveals his soul in pain through words. The protagonist is a woman who, like so many others, she feels that she has given everything as a mother, wife and daughter, losing in this process the link with their own identity. This adaptation highlights the feminist background of the text without resorting to explicit discourses, betting on a human and direct look at loneliness, frustration and the desire to be recognized.
