The well-known film A cage of crickets It is the adaptation that Hollywood made in 1996 of the play The crazy cage (1973) by the French playwright Jean Poiret, now adapted in Spain with the direction of Ángel Llàcer and Manu Guix. Albin and Georges own the La cage aux folles nightclub in Saint-Tropez and their life turns upside down when Jean Michel, George's son, is going to marry the daughter of an ultraconservative deputy, a firm defender of the traditional family.
