Illa Devon ens conta el viatge d’Esther, un personatge —construït amb retalls de realitat i tota la força de la poesia— que s’inventa una illa d’utopia per integrar la seua experiència en un hospital psiquiàtric. Esta nova aposta de la dramaturga valenciana Anna Albadalejo ens parla dels espais de consciència, que han sigut molt explorats al cinema i no tant al teatre, buscant la manera de generar empatia cap a les persones que travessen processos complicats de salut mental. La peça aprofita el llenguatge escènic per explorar les possibilitats poètiques i escèniques del deliri, i desconstruir l’estigma de la bogeria. G.T.
