La Mutant opens its doors again (the old Mutant Space) after a series of avatars that have kept him inactive for more than a year. And he is doing it to host a new cultural event promoted by Valencia City Council - owner of La Mutant and the TEM - to reinvigorate the circus, a stage genre with little pedigree but which hides art in infinite shapes and colors. Contortions it is made up of international shows like The Thing of Claudio Stellato, where four performers are dedicated to building and destroying the wooden blocks that are stacked on the stage; The last jester from the Italian comic Leo Bassi, which recovers the political roots of the circus; i Baraka of Cirque Baraka, a creation that comes from France to question the physical and mental walls of our society. Among the state proposals we stand out Cosmic Basement of loscorderos.sc, which investigates the space between the circus, theater and movement; UduL of The Galindos, inspired by the rhythms of vaudeville and the music hall; Collage of Bot Project full of acrobatics, balances and pirouettes; Mur of (Cia)3, a performance visual, circus, with live music and more, a lot of humor; i Yee-Haw of The band of the Other.
