OLYMPIA THEATER. Saint Vincent the Martyr, 44
love letters It's dry theater, sober, based almost exclusively on the spoken word. It premiered in Connecticut in 1988, swept the circuit off from New York and from there it went to the Edison Theater on Broadway until 1990, but it has continued to be performed sporadically on stage with actors such as Charlton Heston and Jean Simmons (1991), Sigourney Weaver y Jeff Daniels (2007), o Elizabeth Taylor (2007). It is an extremely simple assembly on two characters, Melissa Gardner y Andrew Makepeace Ladd III, who read to each other the letters they have exchanged during almost fifty years of epistolary relationship. David Serrano (constant rain) directs this adaptation performed by Julia Gutiérrez Caba and Miguel Rellán. S.M.
