In the seventies, for three summers, photographer Susan Meiselas immortalized striptease shows that were organized in street fairs in small towns on the American east coast and interviewed the dancers. Almost nudes appeared on stage as an advertisement and inside the van they stripped completely for the men. The Valencian company The Trench has taken this as a reference show which today seems grotesque to emphasize that the woman's body is still used as a claim and very restricted canons of beauty are imposed on it that generate anxiety and frustration.
