After two years of pandemic in which our lives and our customs were turned upside down, The premiere of 2084 —a piece of dystopian science fiction in principle—, poses a scenario that might sound strangely familiar. We are facing a self-oppressed society, populated by beings programmed to be efficient. The planet has run out of oxygen and these beings survive as best they can, isolated, convinced of the dangers that lie in wait for them and accepting their situation as the only possible way to move forward.
