On one side, the Micalet Theater continues to cling to a work that has worked very well for Christmas for years, Neapolitan comedy Christmas at the Cupiellos' house; of the other, this year it stands out in December with a show that we are not used to seeing on its stage. Big drumsit is a show full of energy that mixes African percussion, tap dance (slammed), voice and dance on sand performed by Camut Band. We are talking about a Barcelona company founded on 1994 which is characterized by its dancers dancing on large sound drums to create their own rhythms with classical African and African American influences. Another attraction will be the number of sand dance, interpreted by a specialist such as the dancer Guillem Alonso. AU
