Goodbye Ananda Dance. after 38 years of career that have taken him for more than 25 countries, the company resident in the G.T. Antonio Ferrandis has decided to put the finishing touches on the Palau de les Arts with the piece Âtman, farewell. The National Dance Award will remain for history 2006, the ten MAX awards (set per a PINOXXIo en 2015) and the Medal of Honor of the Valencian Culture Council in 2017 to the choreographer and co-founder of the company, Rosángeles Valls. They say goodbye with an “artistic reflection, compassionate and poetic about that kind of love that generates violence, truncant, even, the life of people who love each other", in the words of Valls. It will feature the music of its regular collaborator, Pep Llopis, based on topics from Valencian folklore, seventeen dancers, an actress, a singer of style singing and the Orchestra of the Valencian Community. This work begins the first cycle of Les Arts dedicated entirely to dance, which will also feature the performances of the National Dance Company and of María Pagés Company. AU
