You, a bike and the road it's a road comic sketch that narrates the author's bicycle trip, Eleanor Davis, from Arizona to Georgia. The great adventure begins as a kind of therapy against depression, but the illustrated travelogue ends, 56 days later, with a bright and positive message. On his journey through the desert from El Paso or las humid lands of Brackettville, Davis draws American towns that have been left without industry (no job and no life), border fences with barbed wire, flees from mad dogs that chase her, crosses a military reservation that simulates an Afghan city and encounters border patrols, bikers and truckers, some caffable and supportive ompatriots, others determined to call “illegal” las personas.
