New edition of La Cabina, the film competition dedicated to the medium-length format (Pelis of 30 a 60 minutes long), that arrives in Valencia. The programming is divided into three sections. In the Official Section Up to twelve pieces from countries like Brazil compete, Swiss, France, Spain, Poland, South Korea, Of.uu. and Taiwan. Among the programmed titles are: The letter room by Elvira Lind with an Oscar Isaac in the role of a correctional officer, the drama The girls go to the park at night, by the Valencian Iñaki Sánchez Arrieta (The mud), and the fantasy genre film Dip, of the Swiss Jean-Guillaume Sonnier, presented in Sitges and which tells the mysterious disappearance of several women with a disturbing lake as the background of the story. The Amalgam Section once again offers us the best of documentary and experimental cinema with twelve titles that come from Spain, France, The Savior, Russia, Italia, Mongolia and Finland. We will be able to see, among other, Go see by Dinah Exchajzer, film that reflects on the modes of neocolonialism in Nigeria, winner of the Equality and Diversity Award at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival; Belgrade forest incident… and what happened to Mr. K? de Jan Ijäs, on the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi; Unforgivable, by Marilén Viñayo from Leon, that tells us about the problems of the LGTBI community in a Salvadoran prison; obstetric violence narrated in the animated film crotch stories de Myleine Guiard-Schmid; Quiet syndrome, directed by León Simiani, o Stop de Stanley Sunday, documentary about the music group Doble Pletina.
