New edition of the international festival of new animation talents Prime the Animation. Prime will take place in three different spaces: the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV, The Film Library and The Ships. With the motto “Wind in favor”, Animation Bonus will start with a special session that will take place in the Filmoteca de Valencia with the screening of the feature film Unicorn wars, by Galician director Alberto Vázquez, without a doubt one of the most prominent figures in the world of animation in our country who has already been awarded four Goya awards. The festival program includes six programs of short films from schools around the world, chosen from among the more than a thousand pieces received this year. Besides, the program includes meetings with figures such as Raúl García, the first Spanish animator who worked for the Disney studios, or the multidisciplinary Valencian artist Santi Agusti/Saponiak, as well as an exhibition of works by the UPV Master's in Animation students. The closing ceremony will take place to coincide with World Animation Day. G.LEON
