THE FILMTECA. Pl. town hall, 17

The Film Library from Valencia, next to the Luis García Berlanga Chair from the CEU-Cardenal Herrera University, invites us to visit the work of one of the most relevant directors of Spanish cinema: Victor Erice. Erice's career has been full of obstacles, which has not prevented each of his films from becoming a milestone. The cycle begins with The spirit of the hive [21 y 23/11], in which a girl, played by Ana Torrent, reproduces the myth of Frankenstein in the heart of Franco's Spain. His last job follows close your eyes [30/11], his incomplete work the south [1/12] y The quince sun, his brilliant documentary on the work of the painter Antonio López. G.LEON
