Sixth season of this contest dedicated to television series. The programming is divided into several sessions or talks. Start this edition of LABdeseries with the visit to Valencia of the composer and singer Victor Manuel and the actress and also singer Ana Belen (Yeah, those you are thinking). In a meeting in which, with the title The series of your life, They will tell us what their relationship is with television series and what series have marked their life, so much staff, as professionally. On the second day of the festival we found two talks: How do bullying represent the bully?, con Nando Lopez (creator of Red flags), Virginia Yagüe (screenwriter of Invisible), y Nuria Gago (creator of The sandbox); which will follow What has stopped being funny in the series?, starring the comedian Paula Pua and the director Nacho Vigalondo. Thursday 3 we will have Crazy about The Ministry of Time, a meeting with its creator, the screenwriter Javier Olivares, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the successful adventure series.
On Friday 4 We return to the double program with two interesting sessions. In How do the series show addictions??, we can chat with the writer and screenwriter Javier Giner (creator of the miniseries Yo, addicted, based on his novel of the same name), Alba Carballal (screenwriter of Yo, addicted y Physics and Chemistry. The new generation) y Lluís Mosquera (screenwriter of the hit Netflix series Elite). That same day, in the afternoon, we will attend the talk How do you reach the mainstream by doing humor on the margins??, in which we can analyze the path of Jorge Ponce (comedian and screenwriter The Resistance, The Revolt and creator of Medina: The celebrity scammer) y Borja González Santaolalla (screenwriter of I don't like driving), from the margins to television in prime time.
Fifth session of the contest and new meeting around one of the directors who transformed the very concept of general television as a space for experimentation. How much do the series owe to David Lynch? will focus on the recently deceased creator of Twin Peaks, this time from the hand of the writer, screenwriter and director Jimina Sabadú and of Aaron Rodriguez Serrano, film critic and professor of audiovisual narrative at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI). And to close the programming, we will have two special sessions. On the one hand, we will be able to enjoy the screening of the first chapter of the Atresmedia series, Mariliendre, presented by Javier Ferreiro, its creator. And as a culmination, We will enjoy the first two chapters of the American version of the legendary series The Office, that this year turns twenty years old.
