journeys (of the)hopeful: Paris-Timbuktu i All about my mother

P. COLOMIN. the Almodí, 1

Organized by the Chair of Cinema Luis García Berlanga, these days try to establish the links of influence that exist between the cinema of director Luis García Berlanga and other contemporary filmmakers. On this occasion, let's address the ties that unite Berlanga with another of the icons of current Spanish cinema: Pedro Almodovar. In 1999, Berlanga signed his last tape, Paris-Timbuktu, year in which Almodóvar premiered All about my mother, his most recognized work. In the words of the organizers of the cycle, both films are united as an expression of two journeys, physical and emotional. The program includes meetings and round tables. G.LEON
