Third long work by the Catalan Carla Simón. After the success of’Alcarras, Simón returns to the screens with another story where memory and the weight of the past trace the master lines of the conflicts that affect its characters. In Pilgrimage, Marina is a young woman from 18 years that he travels to Vigo to be reunited with his biological father's family. Marina is adopted and, with the help of his mother's diary and thanks to the connection he establishes with his new cousin, he tries to reconstruct the story and the life of parents whom he almost never met.
