How do we react to an illness?? This is the question that lies beneath the skin of the Nino, first feature film by French director Pauline Loquès. In his debut, Loquès takes his own experience as raw material for a fiction that tries to delve into our behavior when faced with certain unexpected events that sometimes occur in life.. Nino is a reserved young man who is diagnosed with throat cancer.. This situation will force him to come out of his existential shell and reformulate his place in the world..
