Perhaps the name of Ida Lupino brings to mind the penetrating gaze that starred in titles like blind passion, The last refuge o While New York sleeps. In her facet as an actress, Lupino came to reap some success during the decades of the thirties and forties of the last century. Less known is her facet as a director. Tired of the roles they gave her, Lupino formed her own production company with which she became the only woman to direct films during the fifties. This cycle reviews part of his filmography, with four fiction feature films in which he would address social issues, and a sample of his work for the small screen. G.LEON
