The horizon puts us in the summer of 1976. A heat wave is devastating Europe causing one of the biggest droughts in its history. In this context, Gus, a thirteen year old boy, He spends his holidays on his parents' farm. There he spends his days helping his father, reading comics and running with Mado, a village boy. But this safe environment begins to break with the arrival of Cécile, a friend of his mother.
