Second edition of this contest dedicated to documentary film. DocsValència distributes its programming around several competitive sections: Panorama, dedicated to national feature film, Looks, with long Valencians, y Fragments, dedicated to short format. These sections are joined by others with a non-competitive nature.. In the section Highlights we find a retrospective of director Julien Temple. Noted music video maker, we can see, among other, The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle about the Sex Pistols; Habaneros, tribute to Cuban music; Joe Strummer. The future is not written, about the leader of The clash; Oil City Confidential, o The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson. Besides, the section GlobalDocs will give us a vision of the documentary from other perspectives of race, culture or language. The challenge, by Yuri Ancarani, o freedom from the devil by Everardo González are some of the titles that we can enjoy. Round tables, workshops, master classes and meetings with professionals will be the center of Docs Forums, and in Docslab A window will open for the development of new projects. G.LEON
