The irruption of modernity in the fifties and sixties of the last century meant an upheaval in the forms of cinema. The new wave, the new Italian cinema and the cinemas that came from Eastern Europe proposed, according to the organizers of this cycle, "new ways of understanding reality". Moderns and contemporaries he wonders what remains of that modernity through a dialogue with some of the most relevant directors of the 21st century, making Fellini live with Linklater, Kaurismäki of Wong Kar-wai.
