Lys cinemas started this small series in February dedicated to one of the masters of contemporary Japanese animation cinema: Makoto Shinkai. The great Miyazaki is gone, equally talented new voices emerge. Shinkai's cinema is characterized by its spatiotemporal games, a very careful production of great visual beauty and overwhelming compositions. In March we will see four works.
