As its name tells us, Animal documentary film series collects a selection of films that invite us to reflect on a current issue: animal rights in contemporary society. Coordinated by University of Valencia professor Claudia Alonso Recarte, the cycle started last February with Blackfish de Gabriela Cowperthwaite i Nim Project by James Marsh. They will be screened in March: The ghosts in our machine [2/3] the Liz Marshall, about rescuing animals in the modern world, the spanish Empathy [9/3] d’Ed Antoja, The cove [23/3] by Louie Psihoyos, Oscar for Best Documentary 2009, i The end of meat [30/3] the Marc Pierschel, on meat consumption.
