Basada en su propia experiencia personal, Adam cuenta la historia de Abla, una mujer viuda y madre de un niño de ocho años que regenta en Casablanca una repostería tradicional. One day, una joven embarazada, Samia, llama a su puerta buscando trabajo y alojamiento. At first, Abla siente ciertas reticencias hacia la joven, pero pronto las dos se verán unidas por un sentimiento común.
