After the suspension in July due to the situation caused by the State of Alarm, Cinema Jove arrives this December with a reduced program with several sections. In the Official Short Film Section we find pieces from the best festivals in the world. Among these works, we will see tapes like The distance between us and the sky by Vasilis Kekatos, Cannes Palme d'Or, golden legend by the Elche director Chema García Ibarra and Ion de Sosa, y Be from the gray Ariane Labed, actress and partner of Yorgos Lanthimos. The section continues WebSeries with fourteen projects that address topics such as the demands of the LGTBIQ+ collective in titles such as Exiles o Pain in the ass, the so be it of series like Alisa, or the romantic comedy letters to my ex. Celebrating the centenary of his birth, Cinema Jove dedicates a cycle to the Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti with the screening of The truce by Sergio Renán, y The dark side of the heart by Eliseo Subiela. Besides, there will be special sessions with the following titles: beats! by Andreu García, Flashes of light by Nacho Ruipérez, Perez Arroyo, soul of an entertainer by Carles Palau and Raúl González Monaj, y Jesus shows you the way to the highway by Miguel Llansó.
