The great idea behind Pint of science is to bring researchers out of the lab to spend an evening with them at the bar between beers chatting about science in a fun and accessible way. The festival is held annually for three days in bars around the world: the Mercedes Jazz Café (Russafa), Like the Revolt (Velvets), The Mosquette (Benimaclet) i Beers and Travels (The Headquarters) in Valencia. We will learn about the therapeutic potential of synthetic psychedelic drugs, the brain oscillations suffered by a person with depression, the use of water as fuel, the use of bacteria to decontaminate toxic substances, what can we do to replace plastic, the role of women in the history of science or the search for extraterrestrial life.
