Convent Carmen

Every Valencian has passed through the door of this austere building that was silent on the corner of Blanqueries street.. Many of us did not even know that it is the Convent of San José and Santa Teresa, built in the year 1609. Now, after eleven years of abandonment, the space raises its voice to make a place for itself in the life of a city that welcomes it with the joy of someone who has recovered something very valuable. His voice becomes music and will make the beautiful chapel vibrate with proposals from well-known groups in his Convent Sessions (Pablo and Destruction, 5/10), and others not so much in the Sound alternatives (Pastore, 6/10); Convent Cinema brings film classics to the convent presbytery (3/10), which also hosts proposals such as the express story contest Letring Catch (4/10). Every weekend, gastronomy and music are synchronized and families with children bring life to the large interior patio., enjoying good food, children's concerts and workshops, where before it only grew, crazy, weed.
