Barely three years ago we had the opportunity to enjoy the performance of the Belgian composer Wim Mertens in a packed Canet d'En Berenguer Auditorium, On this occasion he returns to Valencia capital after the publication of a new album titled Heroes. It is a collection of poems by the Roman poet Ovid in the form of letters from mythological heroines to their heroic lovers absent due to wars or other reasons for separation.. This time he presents a wind ensemble project, piano and voice, where, in addition to his famous songs “Humility”, “Wound to wound”, “The scene” o “Struggle for pleasure”, He will also perform more recent songs like “European grasses”, “Victims over victors” o “Sappho”.
