Born in Gentilly, France, Theo Lawrence es a young man in love with American southern music, mainly country from the fifties and sixties, which he interprets together with brushstrokes of rock’n’roll, rhythm’n’blues, soul and even cajun (style created by French-speaking influence in Louisiana). Between Bordeaux and New Orleans aims to synthesize all those roots, without falling into sounds of yesteryear, but maintaining the codes that have made this music their passion. He is not doing badly in the attempt. He has up to ten dates ahead of him in Spain to captivate his neighbors and show that his thing is more inspiration than imitation, and that deep down this is about songs. FEDE FERNANDEZ
