Activista incansable y discípula del poder del arte como herramienta de transformación social, es cofundadora de la compañía de teatro, danza y música en directo Les Impuxibles y ha sido galardonada con el Premio Nacional de Cultura 2019. Se reconocen influencias de Björk o Portishead en su música, un viaje emocional inolvidable que mezcla jazz, poesía y pop. Como bien ha dicho Jordi Bianciotto en El Periódico, “Peya ha creado un mundo de melodías frondosas asentado en su dominio del piano, que toca con ademanes teatrales heterodoxos, y de la mano de cantantes elegidos con gusto e intención”.
