Sharp Pins is a trio of musicians from Chicago, led by the young and perfectionist songwriter Kai Slater. His style is based on a power pop revival, attractive and whimsical, besides chaotic. Fins a hui, the American band has three albums on the market —Turtle Rock, Radio DDR i Balloon Balloon Balloon—, in which he has recovered the analogical spirit of the sixties, regarding the composition and editing process: the recordings are homemade and go straight to the sound essence, following the tradition of Elliott Smith and The Beatles.
